Personal Contract Options

Maintenance Options

Whether you choose Personal Contract Hire or Personal Contract Purchase, your choice of a contract which may or may not include a maintenance agreement will differ in cost depending upon two main criteria, notably the anticipated mileage and length of hire.

Monthly rentals reflect the type of contract taken, Car Leasing UK will advise on your best option and inform you of the actual costs.

  1. Non maintenance contract - you are responsible for arranging and paying for the vehicle's maintenance and are required to have the vehicle serviced to the standards set out in the manufacturer's service schedule. The vehicle may be serviced at a dealer of your choice and the normal manufacturers warranty and guarantee apply. Please ask Car Leasing UK if you have any queries.

  2. Maintenance contract - there are different types of maintenance contracts. All maintenance contracts cover servicing and mechanical failure for the duration of the contract and an optional relief vehicle facility. Car Leasing UK will offered the best options and their implications.

Road Fund Licence costs are included within both types of contract and the tax disc will be forwarded to you at the due time.

Length of contract

The contract is usually for 2, 3, 4 or 5 years. We usually find that 3 years is the most cost effective period but advice is given to each of our customers according to their particular situation.

Contract mileage

The annual mileage allowance is agreed at the commencement of the car leasing contract. The contract will stipulate the excess mileage charge which will be invoiced at the end of the contract should the vehicle cover more that the agreed mileage.
